Learn PureMVC at MAX '09

ImageIn-depth, Hands-on Session

This year, I'm happy to announce that Javier Julio of Arc90 will be representing PureMVC in Christophe Coenraets' Using Flex Frameworks to Build Data-Driven Applications BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) Session.

The session will be held twice: on Tuesday, October 6th from 1:00-5:00 PM and Wednesday, October 7th from 1:30-5:30 PM but the Tuesday session is sold out. So if you'll be at MAX '09, be sure to get yourself signed up for the remaining session on Wednesday.

During the session, framework authors or experts will be taking you through the implementation of a  Contact Manager application in several of the popular Flex architectural frameworks including PureMVC, Cairngorm and Mate. You'll also learn how you can leverage Flex Modules using PureMVC MultiCore.

Some of you may remember Javier, who spoke about the Arc90 Kindling App at the PureMVC Pirate Internet Radio Conference Takeover during MAX '08. He has an excellent working knowledge of the PureMVC framework from day to day use, and has great delivery skills. He's done a bang-up job with the code, so this will be a super opportunity to get your head around PureMVC.

But wait, there's more!

If you aren't able to catch one of Javier's BYOL sessions, you'll have another chance to learn about PureMVC with training guru Sam Rivello at the FITC 'Unconference' @ Adobe MAX on Monday, October 5th from 4:00 to 4:30. Sam's topic is Architectin' RIA's with the PureMVC Framework.

Sam is a teaching hurricane; he's been sweeping the globe training Flex and PureMVC like there's no tommorow! But don't get the idea that teaching is all he ever finds time to do. His Changing Diabetes Barometer is a MAX '09 Finalist, so check it out and be sure to vote for him at the awards.

Whew! Get along little dogies!
